QUICK-FIRE Q&A WITH ALESHA DYKEMA

Briefly introduce yourself:

I’m Alesha Dykema. I’m a mom of two and a wife. And a thriller author! It’s still weird saying that part. I’m meant to be living in some kind of underground, off-grid bunker, but my husband keeps me normal and engaged with society, which is probably for the best. I have a healthy addiction to coffee and murder documentaries, but I think that’s just a hazard of my job writing twisted murder books.

What kind of thrillers do you love?

Well, all kinds really. But I’d say my favorites are domestic thrillers. I love reading about everyday people dealing with crazy situations. And I love a good family dynamic in the plot.

What are you currently reading?

I just finished The Couple Downstairs by A.J. Carter and I’m now reading One Perfect Couple by Ruth Ware. And I’ve only just realized my latest ‘couple’ theme in my reading.

Describe your novel in three words:

Secrets, grief, stalker.
