Digital marketing manager, German and English language
Joffe Books is seeking a proactive and commercially-minded digital marketing manager to oversee the marketing and performance of our German-language editions, as well as some of our English-language ones.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent digital marketing and campaign management skills, and a passion for driving sales through digital platforms. You’ll manage advertising campaigns, coordinate deals and promotions with retail partners, and work closely with our Sales and Business Development manager and in-house marketing team to ensure our German editions reach the widest possible audience.
Your mission? To maximise the visibility, sales, and revenue of our German-language program.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in German and English, a quick learner, and confident managing multiple campaigns across different platforms. They will combine an eye for detail with strong analytical skills and commercial awareness, motivated by delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: £33-38,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
Manage all German-language digital ad campaigns across key platforms, including Facebook and Amazon, optimising for performance and ROI.
Publish German-language editions to KDP, optimising keywords, metadata etc to drive visibility and sales conversion.
Manage some of our English-language digital ad campaigns, working closely with the Head of Marketing and rest of the marketing team.
Oversee German-language deals and promotions, including BookBub and retailer campaigns, to maximise long term sales and revenues.
Analyse and report on campaign performance, providing recommendations for ongoing optimisation.
Work closely with the Sales and Business Development Manager to align marketing activities with publication schedules and title launches.
Work closely with the marketing team to integrate German campaigns into overall company marketing strategy and share best practice.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Experience/skills required:
Native-level German and English.
Strong digital marketing and campaign management experience, ideally in publishing, media, or digital content.
Hands-on experience running paid ad campaigns across Amazon and Facebook.
Familiarity with BookBub and other retailer promotional tools preferred.
Highly organised, with proven ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver to deadlines.
Analytical mindset, with ability to interpret campaign data and optimise accordingly.
Fast learner who adapts quickly to new platforms, tools, and workflows.
Proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Right to work in UK required.
