• Our favourite genres are crime fiction, mysteries, psychological thrillers, cosy crime, police procedurals, chillers, suspense and domestic noir. We will also consider women’s fiction, historical fiction and romance novels.

• We encourage authors of colour, LGTB+ authors, differently abled authors, authors from diverse backgrounds to submit their work and make their voices heard.

• We especially look for great stories, fresh ideas, excellent writing and original voices; in short authors who say something interesting about the world as they see it.

• We publish writers we believe in, from debut novelists and agented authors, to self-represented writers and authors who are already well-established.
