1. Promoter
The promoter is Joffe Books Ltd, 2 Leman Street, London, United Kingdom, E1W 9US (“Joffe Books”).
2. Eligibility
Open worldwide to individuals ages 18 or over, except where participation is prohibited or restricted by applicable local law.
Employees of Joffe Books, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
3. How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
• Join the Joffe Books mailing list, and
• Reply to the welcome email with an answer to the question:
“What’s the first book you would buy with your voucher?”
One entry per person.
No purchase necessary.
Entrants my unsubscribe from the Joffe Books mailing list at any time. Unsubscribing will not invalidate an otherwise valid entry.
4. Entry Period
The prize draw opens on 1 October 2026 and closes at 23:59 UK time on 31 October 2026.
Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
5. Prize
One winner will receive:
a digital Amazon gift card with a value equivalent to £100 GBP, ussed for an Amazon store appropriate to the winner’s country of residence, where available.
If an appropriate Amazon gift card cannot reasonably be provided in the winner’s country or region, Joffe Books reserves the right to provide an alternative gift card or prize of equal or greater value.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash or alternative prize is available.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries within 7 days of the closing date.
The winner will be contacted via the email address used to enter. You will receive email from office[at]joffebooks.com. Please be aware of scammers.
If the winner does not respond within 7 days of initial contact, Joffe Books reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
The Prize will be sent to the winner by email within 14 days of the winner confirming acceptance and any information reasonably required to fulfil the Prize.
7. Data Protection
By entering, participants consent to joining the Joffe Books mailing list and receiving marketing emails.
Entrants may unsubscribe at any time, and their entry will remain valid.
Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Joffe Books Privacy Policy and will be used solely for administering the prize draw and sending marketing communications.
8. Force Majeure
Joffe Books reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the promotion, or substitute the Prize with one of equal or greater value, where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary. Joffe Books will endeavour to ensure that any changes do not unfairly disadvantage entrants.
9. Winner Information
Joffe Books may publish or make available information indicating that a valid award has taken place, such as the winner's surname and country of residence.
The winner may object to their information being published or request that the amount of information published be reduced. In such circumstances, Joffe Books may still provide the winner's details to the Advertising Standards Authority where required.
10. General
Joffe Books reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it reasonably believes to be fraudulent, automated, incomplete, or in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
11. Platform Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Amazon or any other social media platform. Amazon gift cards are subject to Amazon’s applicable terms and conditions.
By entering, participants fully release Instagram and Facebook from any liability related to this promotion.
