SONJA PRICE

Sonja lives on the South Devon coast, and when she’s not joining her friends for a plunge in the sea all year round, she travels in her mind to places as far afield as Australia from the comfort of her desk. She was once challenged by an Indian newspaper about setting The Giants Look Down in Kashmir, which she has never visited. She replied that Andy Weir wrote The Martian without going to Mars, and that writers go where their imagination takes them. They took the point and published a long article about her book with the headline ‘Writers Go Where Their Imagination Takes Them.’
