MARTY WINGATE
USA Today best-selling author Marty Wingate lives in the Pacific Northwest but writes mysteries and historical fiction set in Britain. Previously, she wrote how-to garden articles and books, and this instilled in her a love of the natural world and especially the gardens and birdlife of England and Scotland. She is the author of three mystery series. Marty prefers on-the-ground research and regularly travels to Britain with her husband where she enjoys tracing the steps of her characters, stopping for tea and a slice of Victoria sponge, or enjoying a swift half in a pub.
