**Full Terms & Conditions**
1. Promoter
The promoter is Joffe Books Ltd, 2 Leman Street, London, United Kingdom, E1W 9US (“Joffe Books”).
2. Eligibility
Open to individuals aged 18 or over.
Open to residents of the UK, USA, and rest of the world.
Employees of Joffe Books, Imagine Greece Retreats, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
3. How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
• Join the Joffe Books mailing list, and
• Reply to the welcome email with an answer to the question:
“What is your dream holiday escape?”
One entry per person.
No purchase necessary.
4. Entry Period
The prize draw opens on 18 December 2025 and closes at 23:59 GMT on 31 January 2026.
Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
5. Prize
One winner will receive:
• A place on an Imagine Greece Reading Retreat, which includes private accoms, reading things, etc.
• £1,000 in travel expenses from the UK, USA, or Europe
• Private accommodation, meals, and retreat activities as provided by Imagine Greece Retreats
• A signed copy of Five Liars by DL Fisher and a bundle of psychological thrillers from Joffe Books
Approximate total prize value: £2,000+.
Travel expenses are capped at £1,000 and will be reimbursed or arranged at Joffe Books’ discretion upon receipt of valid documentation.
Retreat dates, location, and accommodation are subject to availability and the terms and conditions of Imagine Greece Retreats.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash or alternative prize is available.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries within 7 days of the closing date.
The winner will be contacted via the email address used to enter. You will receive email from office[at]joffebooks.com. Please be aware of scammers.
If the winner does not respond within 7 days of initial contact, Joffe Books reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
Joffe Books’ decision in all matters relating to the prize draw is final. Joffe Books reserves the right to amend or cancel the promotion where necessary
7. Data Protection
By entering, participants consent to joining the Joffe Books mailing list and receiving marketing emails.
Entrants may unsubscribe at any time, and their entry will remain valid.
Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Joffe Books Privacy Policy and will be used solely for administering the prize draw and sending marketing communications.
8. Liability
Joffe Books accepts no responsibility for:
• Travel delays, cancellations, or disruptions
• Changes to retreat arrangements made by the third-party provider
• Any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the prize
Under no circumstances will Joffe Books be responsible for any loss, damages, costs, or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions, or delays in the promotion of the competition or Prize.
The winner is responsible for ensuring they hold valid travel documents, visas, and comprehensive travel insurance.
9. Force Majeure
Joffe Books reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the prize draw or substitute the prize where necessary due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, travel restrictions, or changes imposed by the retreat provider.
10. Publicity
By entering, the winner agrees that their name and country of residence may be used for winner announcements and related promotional purposes without additional compensation.
11. General
Joffe Books reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it reasonably believes to be fraudulent, automated, incomplete, or in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
12. Platform Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or any other social media platform.
By entering, participants fully release Instagram and Facebook from any liability related to this promotion.
