JO ALLEN
Jo Allen is the author of contemporary detective stories set in the Lake District and Eden Valley. She has been writing across various genres all her life, beginning with short stories and moving on to romance and romantic suspense, before finally daring to test her mettle in her favourite genre — crime. She was inspired to write her DCI Satterthwaite series by the landscape around her home in Cumbria and by the British classic crime novels which she loves.
When not writing she indulges her passion for geography and enjoys cycling, gardening, quilting and attending football matches.
