CATHY PICKENS
Cathy Pickens, an attorney, is professor emerita at the McColl School of Business, Queens University of Charlotte. In addition to crime fiction (the Southern Fried Mysteries), she writes true crime for The History Press and for anthologies and served as national president of Sisters in Crime, on the national board of Mystery Writers of America, and as a founding board member for the regional Forensic Medicine Program.
She is also the author of CREATE! (ICSC Press), offers coaching and workshops on developing the creative process and works with prison inmates and other writers on telling their stories.
