Beth Elliott always told stories, but only started writing them down when she stopped writing school reports. Both she and her Turkish husband taught languages in several countries. The people and places they encountered gave them rich material for their imaginations. Travelling is one of Beth’s passions, so her Regency Tales often include a variety of settings, as well as adventure, intrigue and romance, sometimes with a touch of exotic. Even though the society of the time gave women very little control over their lives, Beth’s heroines manage to forge the life they want.
