MAUREEN CARTER
Maureen Carter is a former BBC TV journalist, presenter and producer. After a career in news and hard facts, she turned to creating crime fiction and is now the author of fifteen novels. Her books often explore the sometime thorny relationship between the police and the media and focus on crime that makes front page news and leads TV bulletins.
Maureen likes walking, word games and people-watching. Among her passions are cats, current affairs, crosswords, cricket, Cornwall and crime fiction. She lives in Birmingham where her books are set.
